Founded in 1837, Abraham Moon & Sons is a renowned Yorkshire-based mill with a proud legacy of crafting high-quality woollen fabrics. It stands as one of the UK’s last remaining vertical woollen mills, where every stage of production from dyeing and blending to carding, spinning, weaving, and finishing takes place under one roof. In July, we had the incredible opportunity to visit their historic mill. Touring the factory, we witnessed the entire production journey from raw wool blending to the final finishing touches. We also learned about the history and values that have shaped this iconic British brand for nearly two centuries. This inspiring experience deepened our appreciation for their timeless craftsmanship and dedication to quality.
